Five marks of our worship

01
Lutheran
The Evangelical Lutheran Worship book empowers the congregation’s prayer and praise each weekend.
02
Liturgical
The service centers on the ancient pattern of gathering, Word, Meal and sending, with a wide variety of service orders across the church year.
03
Sacramental
The baptismal font is central; each service begins with the pouring of water. Holy Communion is celebrated at every service, with an open-age invitation.
04
Centered on the Word
Preaching connects the Word of God to daily joys and sorrows, centered in the message that we are justified by grace through faith.
05
Open to all
Mount Olive expects young children in worship, staffs a nursery for the late service, and expects visitors.
