01Ways we care

Caring for one another

  1. 01

    Meals

  2. 02

    Mount Olive Quilters

Thursdays 9:00–11:00 am, year-round. Nearly 200 quilts a year go to Lutheran World Relief, the Rochester Women’s Shelter, Colombia, Families First Crisis Nursery and the Good Earth Village auction. If you can tie a knot, please come! Contact Elaine Monson, 272-6404.

  3. 03

    The Prayer Chain

Intercession for illness, accident, surgery, difficult decisions or crises — and thanksgiving for answered prayer. All requests are confidential. Contact Kim Ignatius, 507-271-6087, or the church office.

  4. 04

    Prayer Shawl Ministry

For almost 15 years, members have knit and crocheted shawls for anyone in need of prayer and comfort. 2nd Tuesday, 9:00 am; yarn and patterns provided. Contact Vickie Kubly, 507-282-7696.

  5. 05
