022nd Sundays

Service Sundays

Second Sundays are Large Group Sunday School in the Gathering Area — and our 6th–12th grade youth help lead!

Monthly projects have included assembling baby-care kits and animal-care kits, bandage rolling, crafts for homebound members and cards to brighten people’s days.

2nd Sundays also mean kids sing in worship at the 10:30 service.

03Kids Choir

Kids Choir, PreK–5th grade

Music is an integral part of our weekly Sunday School program. Kids PreK through 5th grade share their gifts with the congregation by singing in worship once each month on 2nd Sundays.

04Baptismal journey

The promises we make together

When we bring our children to baptism, we as parents — and as a congregation! — make promises:

to live with them among God’s faithful people, bring them to the word of God and the holy supper, teach them the Lord’s Prayer, the Creed, and the Ten Commandments, place in their hands the holy scriptures, and nurture them in faith and prayer…

Evangelical Lutheran Worship

…so that they may learn to trust God, proclaim Christ through word and deed, care for others and the world God made, and work for justice and peace. This is a tall order! It doesn’t happen overnight. We seek to fulfill these promises together as a community.

Baptism

Preparation for baptism begins with a conversation with a pastor. Call the Church Office at 507.288.1580 to schedule a thirty-minute meeting to learn, share, and prepare.

Communion

People of all ages — even small children — are welcome at the table. Welcome to Communion: An Introduction to the Sacrament is offered for young and old alike, and a private introduction with a pastor can be scheduled.
